The baby bird in the wreath has hatched!
There were two eggs, but it seems there is only one baby bird. She is a real cutie.
This picture was taken on July 5, last Friday. She really had no feathers or even fuzz (at least on her head... I did not want to bother her too much and stayed back as much as I could.) And she really just spent her days with her mouth in the air looking for worms. As shown below. :)
This picture was taken today... she's really changed a lot in just four days.
Her eyes are wide open and she is starting to look like a real bird. And I'm not sure if you can see it, but there's an adorable patch of grey fuzz on the top of her head.
I feel so lucky! ♥
