Well our baby bird flew the coop last week. She (he?) was only with us for maybe a week. So fast! I really do miss the birds, I have to admit.
I've kept the nest on the wall hoping they (or others?) will come back. (A girl can dream, can't she? :)
The night the baby flew away there was a terrible rain storm, so I hope she is OK! Hopefully instinct kicked in and she hid in a bush or somewhere safe...
It's still hot and steamy here in northern Virginia. I miss my long walks with Patrick, but it is JUST too hot. It really is.
